Meet

Ambassador, Megan Withnall 

Age: 21

We asked our incredible ambassador Megan @mw_.golf a few questions to get to know more about her golfing journey so far ... 

When did you start playing?
 I started properly playing golf at 13, entering different competitions and junior opens.

How did you get into the game?
My dad used to take me to the local driving range when I was about 6. Then both of my parents signed me up for after school group lessons shortly after.

Favourite course ever played?
My favourite course I have played would definitely be the Disney Oak Trail in Florida!

Any golf idols?
My golf idols would have to be Ian Poulter, Charley Hull and also Tiger Woods. I think he’s just been on such a journey and it’s inspiring to watch him play!

Driving or putting?
Definitely driving! But think that's changing thanks to my Sunset Bay putter grip!

Favourite club in your bag?
100% my 8 iron

If you could change one rule in golf, what would it be?
If I could change one rule in golf it would be to relax the dress codes a tiny bit. Some clubs take it too seriously, whereas I feel that as long as the player is comfortable, that’s all that matters.
